2006 Blue water Shadow. 20 feet 6 inches long and 8 feet wide.
Volvo v8
inboard and Volvo Penta outboard.
In my opinion the best most reliable combo
on the water.
It is an open bow design that seats 8 comfortably.
I added a
cushion to the bow section which turns the seats into a padded platform for
sunning and relaxing.
I also added the wake board tower.
It folds down to
half its size for easy storage.
Its swoop design also compliments the style
of the boat and makes a perfect platform for some killer speakers.
To power
those hours spent anchored swimming and sunning and listening to music I
added a second battery and a cut off / select switch.
The fast plane hull
design gets you up out of the water quickly while the deep V hull cuts
through waves like butter giving a very smooth ride.
The power steering and
one thumb trim makes driving this thing a breeze.
It has a 42 gallon fuel
tank.
I can pull boarders all weekend and have gas left over.
Volvo put the
oil filter on a bracket up front of the engine so it's easy to get to and
the water pump is right up front as well.
It even has a hose connection in
the engine compartment so starting the engine in the driveway is a breeze.
Just hook up the garden hose, turn on the water, and you're ready to go.
Very easy to maintain compared to my other boats.
This is the 5th boat I
have owned and by far the smoothest and nicest ride I have had.
I have never
had the throttle wide open but it's plenty fast.
It rides and sounds like a
Cadillac.
It has never been beached, the bilge has never had any water in it
other than what drips off skiers as they get aboard.
The platform on the
back and the folding ladder make for very easy in and out for wake boarders
and swimmers.
There is a very large hold under the floor that can easily fit
8 life jackets, tow ropes, and anchors.
There are also holding areas along
the sides of the hull for whatever you need to get to quickly like bumpers
and dock ropes.
There are 2 small ice chests under the front 2 seats in the
bow, and an am/fm radio with removable face plate and hook up for the iPod
in the glove box.
I keep the boat covered at all times so the interior is
clean and free of wear and fading.
It has never been in salt or brackish
water and I flush the cooling system after every use.
The driver and
passenger seats fold flat to make separate lounges as well.
The duel axle
trailer has guide bars making loading easy and also has manual hydraulic
brakes.
You won't be sorry with this boat.
