Basic Decription: Hello...
I have a 50' LOA, 46' LWL, 30' beam custom

It has a
galley down, large salon. 400 GPD water-maker, 5 KW genset, new 1,000
AH house battery bank, new 740 watt solar panel array, motorized dingy
lift drop into chock system, SSB radio, 1,000 watt Prosign inverter,
new Outback solar panel Controller, new Forespar mast, new Leisure
Furl boom, new standing rigging, new bow sprit, new main sail, new
jib, new code zero, new Raytheon electronics chart-plotter, radar,
instrumentation, fish finder, VHF radios, etc., new bottom paint, new
deck non-skid and both hulls repainted ...,.all in 2012.
Conservative
value of Rhumb Line is 475,000 but will exchange for cash property of
similar value... home with acreage, furnishings and water frontage of
prime interest....turn key desired... as will be the boat.
We have a
multi-family in the North East and are looking to exchange our
catamaran for a residence somewhere that we can call home.
We started
off in San Diego on the boat in 2002, then in 2006 and we headed South
and spent the following 6 years cruising the Sea of Cortez, Central
America, through the canal and arrived in Florida in 2011 to have the
boat re-fitted in Ft.
Lauderdale.
We have over 250,000 in receipts for
the refit and are looking to return to land now that we've checked off
one additional item on our bucket list.
She's ready to go for the
right couple wwithout children who want to experience the same
lifestyle we've had since we moved aboard in 2002.
This boat is for
folks who want to undertake extended cruising.
If you want to travel
within sight of land, weekends, or short hops... save some money and
get a boat that's coming out of charter or is not rated for blue
water.
If you are looking to voyage extended cruising to far away
lands, then you may be interested in Rhumb Line RL... which by the way
is "the shortest distance between two points on a curved surface." RL
has two Yanmar 100 HP turbo diesels...to get you out of tight spots,
can cruise easily at 8-10 knots...but sails faster than she motors.
She has twin helm stations interior exterior to keep you out of
weather when needed, and extremely good visibility from all sections
of the yacht.
For tankage she has 200 gal water, 150 gal diesel, 70
gal black water and 20 gal propane.
We also have a 12' AB inflatable
rigid bottom aluminum dingy with a 25 HP Yamaha outboard, that sits
nicely in a set of chocks on the aft transom and a set of Auto Stream
feathering propellers for the diesels.
For you divers we have a dive
compressor aboard, dive tanks, dive computer, along with BC's, masks
fins snorkels.
We also have a twin Hobie fishing kayak the peddle one
with a sail for sailing in the anchorage and fishing gear.
She comes
with safety equipment fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, high water
alarms, gas detectors, jack lines, EPIRB and a variety of life
preservers along with a multitude of spare parts and tools.
Rhumb Line
is a comfortable yacht that will serve you well, so let us know what
ideas you might have.
We are looking to close a deal in 2013 so we are
not in any hurry.
Lots of pics to send along with a copy of last
survey once you've contacted us with your interest and what you have
to offer.
Be well and....
Best regards, Mick 786-385-8442
