| | | | Call Boat Owner John 843-422-3172.
The CHRISITIANNE is presently on the West Coast of Greece in the Ionian Sea.
She can be delivered back to the US anytime or most anywhere else in the world as she has probably already been there.
She is seriously for sale by the only owner.
Want to try before you buy?
Come to Corfu and sail with me for 4-7 days in the Ionian with 2-4 people to try it out.
Couple that with a land package and you have a sua su vacation.
I would charge less than going charter rates and if you buy I will refund the fee.
You can't lose, if you buy you get a great boat and a free vacation sail, if not you get a reduced cost vacation sailing Greek waters with a captain to take you where you want to go and provide any sailing instruction if needed.
Another possibility, purchase the boat and leave ittthere for several summers of sailing the fabulous Mediterranean.
Winter storage is cheaper than the US.
Call or E-mail, I'm always happy to talk boats and can send you a lot more information.
The CHRISTIANNNE is a rare find!
Only a limited number of these boats were made in France and very few imported into the US.
This is the largest of Jeanneau's Ocean Racing Series and while this boat has not been raced, sister ships have achieved ed impressive racing record in Europe.
She was purchased new for the purpose of long distance cruising in a fast, safe manner.
Her speed allowed me to sail her in a comfortable, conservative style and still make better speed than most other boats.
She can easily be sailed by two people and I have single handed on many ocean passages.
Several 240 mile days have been recorded.
Distance was measured not via the knot log or interpolated from a few hours of sailing, but real world, GPS point to point 24 hour sailing which means the distance was greater.
This was not done with a full crew and spinnaker but a comfortable sail with a crew of two people and a poled out Genoa.
The saloon is large and bright using Canadian Maple and Brazilian Moabi wood.
A fixed dining table can seat 10, and has a 4 burner Force Ten propane stove and oven, both a refrigerator and ice box, two deep SS sinks with hot and cold pressure water, a saltwater tap and filtered drinking water tap.
All this plus granite counter tops, a large Nav station with storage and instrument panel with leather trim make it a posh, fast cruising yacht.
This is the owners version with a large stateroom forward with en suite head, dess/dressing table with a revolving chair and hanging locker.
Two double quarter berths and an aft head complete the picture.
All staterooms have room lights, accent and reading lights, fans, hanging lockers and drawer storage.
It sleeps six comfortably and eight in a pinch.
There is a separate, watertight anchor locker, with a Tigress Windless and behind that a very large sail locker which is used as crew berths in some yachts.
This has a watertight bulkhead about 1/3 of the way up and will keep the hull from flooding if the bow is breached.
Numerous handhold's and hand rails running the length of the cabin make it safe in a rough seaway.
A Yanmar 72 hp engine provides very reliable, economiical power for those windless days.
It is coupled to a three blade Autoprop which adjusts automatically to conditions weather you are motoring across flat seas, powering through waves and a head wind or motor sailing with a light breeze.
When sailing, it streamlines itself reducing drag providing a 0.5 to 1 knot boost in speed depending upon conditions.
The original 3 blade fixed prop is a spare.
