br /> The 1997 32' Luhrs is a great all around boat for family fun, cruising
and sport fishing.
It has a very stylish look and with its deep V hull
and Carolina flair it gives a very smooth and dry ride.
The boat has twin 454 Marine Power engines, which gives plenty of
power to get up and go, and with a single 300 gal fuel tank you can go
for some distance.
The single fuel tank also gives stability with no
listing to one side or the other.
The engines have been very reliable
and well maintained and repairs are done as needed.
Access to the
engines and a Kohler 6.5 generator is via the main flooring in the
cabin area.
Entry to the boat from the water is by way of a rear transom door and
a drop down floating three-step ladder.
This is great for scuba diving
as you can walk up with gear on.
The cockpit area has a large fish box in the rear portion of the
floor.
There is a fresh water bait prep center on the starboard side
with a three-drawer tackle box below.
Under the starboard gunwale are
the hookups for shore power and TV cable.
On the port side is a large
live well or storage area.
The bridge is setup with two swivel chairs at the helm and a large
console.
In the front of the console is a full bench seat (enough for
three) with cushions and storage below.
The console has twin throttle
& gear shit control as well as engine gauges, remote spot, windless
and docking lights, and marine radio.
There is also a place for a
chart layout.
Above the helm is an electronics box with a Furuno
16-mile radar a Garmin 4210 GPS unit and a Sitex color fish finder,
depth sounder.
Entry to the cabin is through two pull out doors.
The starboard side
has a fold down couch that sleeps two.
On the port side is a full
bench seat that sleeps one.
Just inside the cabin on the starboard
side is the main control panel for DC/Shore power and main engine
switches.
Just forward on the port side is the galley, which is
equipped with a sink, microwave, two-burner stove, refrigerator and
storage area.
There is also a 19" color TV/DVD on the starboard side.
Across from the galley is a full standup head with enclosed shower
sink and electric toilet, as well as power exhaust and sump pump in
the floor.
The large forward berth sleeps three and has lighting and side closets
and three drawers for storage as ell as shelving for extra storage.
There is also a forward hatch to allow for sunlight, ventilation and
emergency exit.
Overall condition of the boat is very good.
The engines havehigh
hours but have been very well maintained with little to no problems.
Cruising speed at 3200 rpms is approx. 19 knots and 25 knots at 4300
rpms.
