This 58-footer is ready for anything, including fishing, cargo hauling, or personal yacht conversion.
Originally built in 1917 by Tacoma Boat Works, she was relaunched at Port Townsend, WA in March 2007 after a 4-year, $300K+ professional restoration project.
Specs:
- LOA 58', Beam 14', Draft 6.5', 60 ton with 22 net tons cargo capacity
- Hull: All new frames, stringers, clamps, shelves, sponsons, guards, covering boards, stern, ceilings, horn timber and planks
- Engine: Single rebuilt 8v 71 Detroit diesel
- Genset: 7.5KW Onan 2 cyl
- Electric: New 3 x 8D (12V) and 4 x 8V (32v), and new Outback inverter/charger
- Hydraulics: New 25 gal. alum. tank, all new hoses & fittings
- Rebuilt anchor winch, deck winch, new rudder & hydraulic steering system
- Fuel: Two new 600 gal. alum. fuel tanks, hoses, valves, and distribution center
- Water: Two new 200 gal. poly. fresh water tanks, hoses, valves and pumps
- Deck: New aluminum stern rail and full bulwarks
The Phoenix III is a grand vessel with traditional lines, a fuel-efficient hull (approx. 5 gal/hr @ 10kts).
