1986 WELLCRAFT Nova 3 for sale.
I bought this boat in 2004 and I have receipts for $13,000 dollars worth of work that was just done to the previous year. (‘03) some of the work included, overhaul of both engines, new everything, risers, pumps, belts, wires.
I mean a real good job, went through the out drives, new gimbals, bellows, trim switches, hoses, everything.
I have it all on paper. the boat does not have an hour meter on it so I can’t prove the hours, but I have only had it out maybe 10-15 times since I’ve owned it.
I blew the out drive on the right side the year before last during its only trip to the lake on my vacation, I replaced it and have had it on the water 2 times since then.
It’s a great boat I just don't have time for it. when I bought it the trailer was junk.
I had to replace all the bearings and races, brakes, wheel cylinders, replace the master cylinder and some of the brake lines. replaced all lights, and installed new wiring; I then put aluminum wheels on it and new rubber, installed a spare tire.
The rollers need to be replaced. they’re old and cracked.
The trailer is sound, I would pull it anywhere right now with out a second thought. the boat is ready for the water.
I replaced both batteries last year, it has the guest switch for disconnecting the batteries, this boat is great in rough water, it would amaze you.
I had no idea how well it does until I took it to the Ozarks 1 time.
Other boats about the same size were going slow by the shore trying to not get beat up, it has trim tabs and they do a nice job when the water is 4 foot swells.
I replaced a shift cable on a drive also and did the upgrade on the seals for both sides.
Replaced the gimbal bearing while I was in there and replaced the oil in the drives, I have always kept everything up as I had planned to keep this boat.
